Minneapolis Food Truck Festival

One of the Twin Cities’ most popular and delicious free events returns to the city where it all began. The MN Food Truck Festival will take place in the beautifully renovated Father Hennepin Bluff Park along the Mississippi River and Saint Anthony Main district of Minneapolis.

Dakota County Fair
August 04–10

Enjoy carnival rides, demolition derbies, rodeo events, live entertainment, and plenty of great fair food at one of Minnesota’s biggest summer fairs.

Gem Days
August 08–09

Owatonna celebrates its community treasures with sidewalk sales, live music, food trucks, kiddie parades, outdoor movies, and more. Gem Days highlights the charm of local history, parks, and traditions.

Minnesota Garlic Festival
August 09

A must for garlic lovers, this festival features gourmet food, cooking demos, live music, artisan booths, goofy games, and plenty of garlic-themed fun, all supporting Minnesota’s rural communities.

Vadnais Heights Days
August 11–17

A week-long community event with bingo, car shows, kids’ activities, music, fireworks, markets, parades, senior picnics, and tournaments including bean bag toss, pickleball, men’s softball, and volleyball.

Art in the Garden
August 15–17

Set against the beauty of the Arboretum gardens, this event features over 70 local artists and vendors offering crafts, fine arts, and food. Enjoy live music, shop for unique pieces, and connect with local creators.

Anoka Food Truck Festival
August 16

Downtown Anoka will be packed with food trucks serving up a variety of dishes during this popular annual festival. Bring your appetite and enjoy live entertainment throughout the day.

Minnesota Children’s Museum Summer Block Party
August 16

Dance to a live DJ, race down giant inflatable slides, and enjoy games and activities at this family-friendly summer block party. Free and open to the public.

Dog Races Days
August 17

Watch corgis race down the track between horse races at Canterbury Park. It’s a day of adorable, tail-wagging competition that’s sure to make you smile.

Woodbury Days
August 22–24

This 3-day community celebration brings together over 25,000 attendees with live entertainment, delicious food, parades, family activities, and 200 local businesses showcasing what Woodbury has to offer.
